Legacy of Dr. Bunche Night

The Legacy of Dr. Bunche Night will feature the Bunche Scholar Documentary, mingling with the Bunche Steering Committee members and local Bunche District Chairs, and a message from Dr. Bunche's cousin, Peter Taylor. The night is a celebration of what it means to be a Bunche Scholar at UCLA today and to share that message with those alumni who give their time to Bunche Scholars. Food will be provided. Bunche Scholars will receive all three of their Alumni Association hours for attending.

This event is for ALL current ASC members as we demo our new activities set to premier State Finals 2009: Legends of UCLA (based on the old TV show, Legends of the Hidden Temple)! Come have some first-hand fun playing our new games and participating in the newly revamped Scavenger Hunt: Olmec's Run through Westwood! At the end of the night your constructive criticism and feedback will be greatly appreciated as we work out the kinks before State Finals happens in the spring!

San Pedro Brewing Company
On February 28th the Alumni Scholars Club is hosting a basketball watching party at the San Pedro Brewing Company (Home of the Bruin Blonde) in San Pedro, California. UCLA Alumnus and Brewery Owner, James Brown, will be renting out the entire brewery to watch the UCLA basketball game against the Cal Bears. Come connect and network with tons of UCLA alumni from the South Bay Bruins and the Orange County Bruins.
Pay $20 to ASC Advisor Michelle Sproat by February 25th to ensure your meal,
free pint, and raffle ticket.
Transportation to the event is provided. Students will meet at JWAC at 4 pm on
Saturday the 28th to ride to the San Pedro Brewing Co. by bus. We will be back
at UCLA at 9 pm.
YOU MUST BE 21 to come to the event. ID’s will be checked on the bus.
