Come join us at this unique workshop where you will get a chance to practice public speaking, on camera, with food and friends. Please bring a 1-2min prepared speech (the speech is not required but highly encouraged for you to gain the most out of the workshop) on one of the following topics: Why are you proud to be a Bruin?, How has the Alumni Scholars Club enhanced your experience at UCLA?, or What made you come here today? Dinner will be provided followed by a presentation by our local expert Peter Fong. This workshop will help quell some of your jitters and allow you to practice what scares people most, public speaking. You'll get some immediate feedback as well as a copy of your speech on CD with some helpful advice.
