The Leadership Development committee oversees coordinator development and plans programs and workshops to help you develop your leadership skills through hands on activities and interactions. Come join us to enhance and practice your public speaking skills, fundraising, event planning abilities.
Coordinator Development: Each Executive Board director oversees a committee of coordinators who help plan and implement programs and events and are vital components of the club. The Leadership Development Director works to develop leadership skills and foster community among coordinators by planning quarterly retreats. Additionally, the Leadership committee works closely with each of the other committees and leads team building activities for each of the committees throughout the year.
Besides coordinator development and the Ambassador Program, our committee provides opportunities for team building activities such as the Sunset Rec Challenge Course, public speaking opportunities, lessons on effective fundraising for organizations, and other practical skills that will benefit you in your classes, internships, and work.
