Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program exists to help spread awareness of the UCLA Alumni Scholarships. Students who take part in the program will develop their public speaking, marketing, and sales skills while encouraging high school juniors and seniors interested in UCLA to apply to the UCLA Alumni Scholarships. Ambassadors serve in this crucial marketing and leadership role for the Alumni Association on a subcommittee under the Outreach Director, Steve LoCascio.

Ambassadors should be professional, outgoing, and friendly, as they will be visiting their former high school and at least two others near their home town. High school visits occur during winter break and will be coordinated with the schools by each Ambassador and members of the Outreach Committee. As a bonus, Ambassadors will receive UCLA service hours for their participation!

Ambassadors must be able to attend two training events on the following days:

  • Thursday, November 3rd, 5-6:30pm in JWAC
  • Wednesday, November 16th, 5-6:30pm JWAC
