Steve LoCascio
Outreach Director
3rd Year
Major(s): Economics & Political Science
Steve is from the city of Manhattan Beach, CA. He shares his time between the ASC Executive Board, UCLA Campus Tours and his internship with CBS Television. He also served as one of last year's Scholar Relations Directors. Steve likes cars, travelling around the country, hanging out at the beach and movie nights with friends. He hopes to one day attend law school and become an entertainment lawyer.
Role
The Outreach director is responsible for planning the student-run portions of the Freshman State Finals Competition and Welcome Day for all incoming Alumni Scholars. This includes aspects of recruitment, training, publicity and event coordination. This director also coordinates and oversees the Ambassador Program, where scholars return to their high schools to promote UCLA and the Alumni Scholarship.
