Campus Volunteers Director
3rd Year
Major(s): Psychology
Marie's home base is Mission Viejo, a little town right smack in the middle of Orange County. She is a Psychology major, and spends much of her life wishing that meant she could read minds. When not attempting to succeed at this, she enjoys watching the Angels, cheering on various UCLA sports teams, eating whatever is in front of her, and trying to do handstands. In addition to the wonderful and lovely ASC, she is also involved in the Student Alumni Association and the Los Angeles Team Mentoring program. Her dream vacation is a yoga retreat in Indonesia, and her favorite cookies are the sugar ones from Diddy Riese (just in case you have some extra lying around).
The Campus Volunteers director is responsible for managing the ASC Campus Volunteers (CV). This program places large groups of ASC volunteers in various campus and community service projects such as the Los Angeles Times Book Fair, College Honors Day, Los Angeles Team Mentoring, the I’m Going to College Program and various food and blood drives. The CV director recruits and initiates various ASC community service opportunities throughout the year. Contact Marie at campusvolunteers@alumnischolarsclub.org
