Kristen Torres

Major(s): Global / Environmental Studies


Kristen is a third-year, geography/environmental studies major, urban and regional studies minor. She was the communications coordinator for the Bunche Program from 2006-2008. She is active on campus through UCLA Athletic Recruiting, the University Catholic Center, and as an Adidas Brand Coach. Prior to this year, Kristen was a member of the UCLA Colorguard and danced tango for Night of Cultura. She plans on earning an Urban Planning M.A. and a J.D. and then continue on to save the world. Kristen is the oldest of four kids whose parents met at UCLA at the Freshman Summer Program.

Role

The Dr. Ralph J. Bunche programs director coordinates programs and service projects for Bunche scholars, including recruitment programs for prospective UCLA students. He or she attends Bunche Scholarship Committee meetings and organizes Bunche student social mixers.
